After their awakening a flaw developed and their body temperature needed to remain at 31.5 degrees for them to remain alive. They could not stand the raising of their temperature by any external stimuli or they would not survive. This included love.
My personal opinion Ji Chang Wook doesn't really suit these roles as the love stricken lover. I prefer him in his action hero roles, but I liked the drama it gave us scientific buffs a lot to think about with the cryogenics. Is this the way to preserve your life while waiting for that miracle cure? It going to be really expensive so only the rich can afford it.
