1. Dexter saves the day
2. Deb has dinner with Mathews
3. Deb has wet dreams about Dexter
With many seasons, it's sometimes just is... hard to keep up with the character development. Was Laguerta always this manipulative and evil? Perhaps. But she sounded particularly vicious this episode.
The whole Debra's fantasy plot line is just... really strange. Straight up out of stepbrother porn. No need for it at all.
The whole Travis scene at the end felt very forced. I mean I understand the need for Dexter to escape but man it was so not tense at all. Very rushed and gave no time for the audience to be immersed in the scene. All in all, very confusing episode with lots missing. One of the most disappointing second to finale episodes.
