I don't remember seeing any other post-apocalyptic movie or series so artistic. Usually these post-apocalyptic movies/series are about survival, are fast-paced, too much action and no character development. Station eleven is presented on multiple timelines and has so many scenes and shots so beautifully taken combined with some awesome piano scenes (Liszt - La Campanella the conductor scene). Seems like a more alive society after these apocalyptic events and quoting a character: "This strange and awful time was the happiest of my life".
