For what it is, and knowing what it is, its not bad.. certainly not the worst Doctor Who or associated video game I've ever seen (and there were a few bad mobiles ones that come to mind.)
Is it an episode? No, more like the little shorts that used to happen in series 5-7, but without their charm, and aimed at a younger audience.
Synopsis (spoiler?): the player character helps the doctor take a runaway/lost child back to its home planet.
Its cute, potentially fun, a little cringe, and if you don't have a VR headset you can probably find a playthrough over on youTube somewhere.. experience and results may vary.
