It's not a great but not as bad as the alien Xmas on Netflix. There are some semi heart warming moments but the writers really seemed to be grasping at straws. For example the "save the factory" mentality the mother has, the antagonist at the factory is a lower level manager what sensible adults wouldn't just go above her head. One of my biggest problems is the Mrs president in America, we've literally never had a female president not to say it would be bad or that a woman couldn't be president. I guess the monkey they had review the script for most of the film just wasn't invested in this movie.
All in all if you want something to watch with your kids it's a fine movie, just don't expect to have much cheer yourself this holiday season.
