I liked it.

Warning: Spoilers
This goes back to the classic westerns where the good guys are good and the bad guys are bad. The hero is stoic, determined, and ready to do what needs to be done. I dropped a couple stars for a couple plot issues.

At the beginning of the movie, the minister is writing his brother a letter. He's interrupted and puts the letter in his desk in the church. Only moment later he's knocked out by the local outlaws and burnt to death in his church. The whole building goes up in flames. A few days later his brother rides into town-with the letter in his pocket.

In another scene, the marshal is called into a livery by a harlot who claims she has news for him. It's a set up so the outlaws can corner the marshal. But he sees it coming. Yet somehow the outlaws are able to get in three punches while the hero stands there and does nothing. This scene was needed for the plot, but could have been handled so much better so the hero didn't look weak.

Lastly, at the end of the movie there's a shoot-out, where the final killing shot to the main outlaw is that the cross falls off the top of the church and pins him. This is portrayed as the dead minister getting his revenge, which wasn't true to his character. He wasn't afraid to call out sin, but he also was a man of justice, not vengeance.

Other than those qualms, I thought the acting was good, I liked that while it was gritty there wasn't a lot of gratuitous cussing, sex, or violence. Nice job all around.
