A masterpiece
30 November 2021
I haven't watched that many Hollywood movies (maybe around 50 and most of those are action / sci-fi movie), however, it's the best of all those. The movie has a great story which is an autobiography of the director herself. It explores the relationship between parents and children in the 70s and highlights the difficulty in maintaining even a small family in expensive cities. The movie made me very sad in fact.

The performance of the cast was too good. Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana and the director's own daughter Imogene were outstanding. It's the first movie I saw where Ruffalo was the leading actor and he was damn good in his character. And Saldana was as always beautiful and mature. But above all, I think the newcomer Imogene was the best. She had great emotion and expressed that in such a way that it would obviously touch you.

Overall, a great movie and if you haven't watched it yet, I will definitely recommend you to watch it.
