5/10
Pretty much a standard Western through and through...

Right, let's just be honest, you sit down to watch "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood" simply because actor Robert Bronzi is an almost dead ringer for Charles Bronson.

For a Western movie like the 2019 "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood", then I have to say that writers Rene Perez and Jeff Miller actually managed to churn out a fair enough storyline. Sure, it wasn't the most riveting of storylines, as it was rather simplistic. But its simplicity actually makes sitting through the movie rather easy; you just switch off your brain, lean back and enjoy the movie.

Sure, there are far better Western movies out there, because "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood" isn't exactly a ground-breaking movie in the Western genre. But chances are that if you enjoy the archetypical Western movies, then you will also enjoy "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood" from director Rene Perez.

The acting performances in "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood" were adequate. You are not in for any award-winning performances when you sit down to watch a movie like "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood", and that is a given fact.

I found "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood" to be watchable, albeit not a particularly memorable or outstanding Western.

My rating of "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood" lands on a mediocre five out of ten stars.
