"Night, Mother" grabs you from the very first moment through the end. The topic is so poignant during COVID-19 but definitely will have the same impact at any time. Ellen McLain's acting as Mother was absolutely incredible, touching and heartbreaking. You really resonated with a person who has no idea how to handle or help others emotions but is trying at all costs to hang onto hope that she can help. Sheila Houlahan's performance is clearly drawn from a dark internal place and that shines through in her portrayal of this very difficult topic. She portrays her character's pain and the depth of the actions she choses to take with ease which also grabs you in. With no spoilers, this was definitely not an easy medium to work in but John Patrick Lowrie does an incredible job. Outstanding cast and would recommend to everyone.
