First, the dialogs - you feel they can't be written in a better way.
Second, the cast and their acting - as if each of them are born for their respective roles only. Specially Maggie Smith and Jim Carter. Oh Heaven!
Third, the story, the script, the production design, the presentation, and the way the whole tale has been told. If you want to witness the early twentieth century wholesome British society live, there you go.
