The plot is there, the characters exist, it's a social issue and more common in England than probably anywhere else due to absolutely ridiculous regulations and a grant supported care taker system where some individuals and whole families actually make a living out of it. Poor acting except from the young deaf girl and sufferable film flow, photography ranges from mediocre to great in 2 seconds so again not holding. I'm surprised it got 7.2 so far, it's probably got to due with the exotic syndrome but we all have different tastes I guess.
