Speech therapist Julia (Jennifer Beals) finds herself in the middle of a mystery when her friends begin acting strangely and having hallucinations. This has something to do with the silky-voiced radio DJ known as NIGHT OWL.
When Julia investigates, her life also becomes affected by this pernicious personality.
While the basic idea is intriguing, this movie takes far too long to get going. It suffers from lengthy stretches of dullness where nothing remotely interesting takes place. It's also packed with cheeeze, especially the finale.
