I love Cinderella adaptations and I hunt for them. The characters in here especially the steps are exaggerated caricatures of slapstick villain that it grated on me. I don't mind slapstick much but for this movie, I guess it's because they didn't really add to anything except annoyance. I couldn't really bond with the lead as well. What I do like about this is that the leads actually fall for each person's real self so that's something new. It may have been a very sped up version of a relationship but it's a nice touch.
