I don't think we all watched the same anime and got 10/10 to mid range ratings like 5-6/10. Im guessing the manga readers got around to watch the anime.
I personally haven't read the manga so im strictly going from the show. This show is a mess. The dialogues and monologues are bad, the main character sucks, his most notifying personallity quirk is crying. Like im on episode 21 and im pretty sure he's cried more than 21 times. The jokes and gags don't land for me, I honestly think they're cringe for the most parts. It's a lot of things they haven't explained like why can he even time travel and why his partner remembers most things even though he's in the present. Maybe i'll get an explination but my friend who reads the manga told me it doesn't. I don't really have a problem with not explaining it and letting the show move on but if the show doesn't even let the characters wonder I think is a wasted scene.
Also the healing process in this anime is weird. I think it was epiosde 2 or 3. Takemichi got really horribly beat up, goes from running, having trouble using his left leg so it's kinda like draging on the ground. To him taking a walk around in the city thinking about life. Like wtf?!?!?!
Why i put it at 6 it is because my rating system is 10-i'd watching it again/loved it 9. It's great but not really there/loved it but not perfect 8. All around great show but it's not 10/10 7 good all around nothing, to compain about.
