I was very disappointed in this movie. Love the CT setting but everything else was awful. There is absolutely NO CHEMISTRY between the 2 lead actors. The dialogue was off, flat & forced between them. Aly Michalka was stiff and had no personality at all. She was cold and acted like she didn't want to be in the movie. Chad Michael Murray wasn't much better, however I think that was because there was no chemistry with his co-star. The plot about saving a pier was dull and boring. Lily Jane as Milly was the best character in my opinion!!! She had personality and exhibited excitement in her role. CCM has a good track record in Hallmark movies and I believe his poor performance is due to the poor plot and horrible choice of co-star (Aly Michalka). It was a surprise to have the famous first Hallmark kiss earlier in the movie than usual. That usually comes at the end!!! The ending was ridiculous!!! Deciding to keep the pier and have the developer fix it??!! No one thought of that in the initial discussions??!!! The entire movie is just weak on all levels.
