Half Past Dead meets Escape Plan 3, and it's a lot worse than that combination

Warning: Spoilers
After being busted for a heist, a former CIA contractor is sent to a Mexican prison.

His former CIA boss offers him freedom if he can break into the prison vault and steal $50 million...

Lundgren is the action star that producers forgot. In a world when Van Damme, Willis, and Seagal straight to platforms garner much interest, Lundgrens films are at the back of the row wearing their hands about erratically.

And with this, it's clear to see why. Lundgren is arguably a good actor, and his presence is still credit to a film if he's in it.

But the pacing is bloated, the villains may as well be wearing sombreros, and his 'team' are straight out of the one liner index of 1999.

There's no real urgency to the narrative, I think only a hand full of people infiltrate the prison, and Lundgren gets respect from his fellow inmates by pretending to fight them during mealtimes.

Corbin Bernsen spends the film swearing and looking behind his back, and Mandylor has a look on his face saying 'why did my brother get picked for the Saw franchise, and not me?

If you're a Lundgren completist, it's a must, for everyone else, it's ninety minutes of not much going on.
