YOU BROKE MY GRILL!?

With Nickelodeon animation's 30th anniversary on the way, I might as well make these little reviews towards Nicktoons. Some in order, some not.

Doug can definitely come off as outdated now considering all the great shows it inspired in the 90s like "Hey Arnold!" or "Recess" or "Arthur", but it can still be funny sometimes. I like Doug's active imagination and heroism alter egos. (Also this may be a guilty pleasure, but I find Mr. Dink and Roger Klotz to be very funny characters. At least their voices is because Billy West and the rest of the actors are great). The animation reminds me of animated "Clarissa Explains it All." A strange comparison, but that's how I feel when observing the backgrounds, colors, and especially soundtrack. Like the opening theme song. Soooo yeah. Doug is my favorite of the three og nicktoons.

All of these praises however apply to the nickelodeon version. Avoid the Disney reboot at all costs.
