Good for ego's to start with

Imagine the world where there aren't that many movies being made because people don't need the distraction because they don't know escapism. The movies that would be made would consist of 98% treatises on how to be totally free. If a movie were produced where people kill each other, most people would react with amazement and disgust.

Because the collective consciousness has not yet reached that stage, it is unfortunately exactly the other way around: 98% of the films are about people who are in conflict or shoot each other because all unseen egos like to watch violence. When a few movie productions appear that do deal with consciousness, they are of course mocked by the ego's because if there is one thing the ego fears, it is that it will be discovered. Some of the comments here are living proof of that.

Samadhi is a sequence of universal truths from various religious disciplines. The movie does not zoom in anywhere and therefore remains too general to really lead to an expansion of consciousness. Also the voice over may be too monotonous to carry throughout the film.

Nevertheless, Samadhi is made with love and guts and presents a wonderful opportunity to delve into ancient wisdom. It contains beautiful texts and animations and the movie can be a good first reason to look inward. A nice first opportunity for the ego to discover itself.
