Cynthia deserved better

I love Cinderella adaptations so I may be a bit biased. I wasn't expecting the greatest acting so the subpar acting here wasn't so bad to me. Reminds me of telenovelas which I loved growing up.

I do like that they didn't make her into an orphan like the usual Cinderella. I would've rated this higher but this movie infuriated me. That's good to me because it meant it's realistic like the father being an a-hole. I wanted to slap him in the face. But I'm mad that he didn't have any redemption to rekindle his relationship with Cynthia...dude didn't even apologize properly.

I honestly feel like out of all the Cinderella movies I have watched this is the one that I truly felt the unfairness and anger and frustration. That stepmother really knows how to be a B! LOL.

Then we get the blegh 'prince'... he deserves to be single. Kudos that his not knowing who she was is at least believable but like... I sort of get that he got embarrassed being stood up but he didn't even try to listen when the actual lady in question actually showed up. Hello?? Entitled much?? Their dialogue together didn't even spring love to me... only on his side I guess? IT was a very quick love.

Overall. Good one time watch if you're into Cinderella adaptations. It's easy to watch. Don't listen to the dub btw!! The dub acting is worse than the actual acting.
