5/10
Somewhat entertaining. Would have been great if she were honest with herself and everyone else.

Somewhat enjoyable movie. The drama was mostly funny which was nice and light. The music was nice and they needed more of the naked man to lighten the mood.

The movie dragged in the last 4/5th of the film during the set up to establish her life in Florida, where she was supposed to go with her former husband but did not want to is a smidge poetic. There should have been more of the conscious, he was funny. But I have to say come on with the heartbreak. A woman seduces and cheats with a married woman then gets upset when the same formerly woman cheats on you with a new secret boyfriend? No big surprises there, and to boot this formerly married woman cannot come to terms with her sexuality and everyone intimate with her pays the emotional costs of her confusions and lack of acceptance. Just don't date til you figure your stuff out.

The movie messaging is mixed in a sense. The main character says she wants to be monogamous but then wants to date multiple people at the same time and not be open and honest with them about dating others at the same time.

She can have everything she wants she just needs to be open and honest with herself to start with and stop persuading monogamy, get involved with people who are fine with that, and stop believing monogamy is for her or that it is what she wants. Listen to your therapist, fidelity takes commitment and the main character does not have the capacity to do that with just one person. So only deal with people who can deal with that, not Lola, or the Florida boyfriend. David might be a keeper for you.

We can be our own worst enemy. And to Lola at the end of the movie I say run away and far and quick as you can and establish the boundaries that you need. You want only her and she doesn't sad but you'll find what you want.
