Passable Falcon entry
19 April 2021
An escaped convict, a priceless necklace and a clever impostor are the plot strands that director Irving Reis weaves together at breakneck speed.

Ok Falcon entry that balances between comic wisecracks and hard boiled investigation( this film is based on Chandler's Farewell, my lovely), but it doesn't raise above standard, though it is entertaining enough, has some really good one liners, and some good atmosphere ( the scene in the cemetery is a good example.) Also Ward Bond steals the scene as Mitch Malloy. George Sanders is his reliable self.
