"I don't have time to store a dead president in my room"
12 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A typical 'Die Hard' imitation set in a hotel in the Dnestrian Autonomous Republic and like many imitations is a poor copy of the original idea of the 'lone man' against the forces of evil, here soldiers who have overthrown the rightful president. Not much in the movie makes any sense. The 'lone man' is played by Tom Hopper who has all the charm and presence of a whelk. The way he wanders about the hotel so freely is stupid. Security in the hotel is laughable. The action is blandly choreographed with the renegade soldiers being dispatched with hilarious ease. The laundry chute scene is a rib-tickler. The title of the film is pretty meaningless. There were three producers and six executive producers for this. Many hands make lightweight work.

The only character I actually liked was the president played by Lacy Moore. She was eminently watchable.
