Like Turtles (2019)
a mother. her son
23 March 2021
A young woman. Her son. Homeless, living in a car. Her hard tries to create a magic protective circle to the boy after the death of his father. And her tries are good. A film about family, easy to see as manifesto/ remind about cruel near reality, seductive for cinematography and good dialogue and, sure, for performances. Delicate and powerful story, in same measure, it is just a very useful kick for remind small, fundamental things defining us.
