Miriam Hopkins is Dorothy, wealthy head of a corporation. she's engaged to be married to Don, but she isn't sure if things are A-OK. and look at those co-stars: Joel McCrae. Henry Stephenson, Fay Wray, George Meeker. Wray had just made her HUGE splash in King Kong the year before. (how did she not get at least nominated for that?) and had good roles in Jekyll and Hyde and Heiress. british Henry Stephenson was everybody's uncle, judge, or wise old grandfather. In RIchest Girl, Dorothy switches places with Sylvia, her assistant, to try to get some privacy, a story that has been remade several times over the years. everyone else spends their time trying to get pictures of the "richest girl", who really isn't!
