I love slow movies where practically nothing happens plot wise (character development heavy). This was not that. Can anyone reading this tell me that you feel we got to know the characters well? This movie didn't have much to offer. I can tell they were going for modern Lovecraftian horror like The Endless (2017) but this movie did not have the same impact. There was nothing truly horrifying about this - the ending was probably the best part in terms of putting "catch and release" into perspective.
