The movie's premise reminded me of the old Scooby Doo cartoons. Or the Godzilla cartoon from the '70. That, I kinda like. However, I expected something else. It is a little too juvenile (especially the soundtrack, sounds like a mix of Looney Tunes and surf music), Godzilla is way too anthropomorphised, there are some plot holes and overacting and the beginning of the movie isn't great. The film improves a little towards the middle and end, but not very much.
