In Fabric is a very interesting film.. The film has a 1970's italian vibe to it. Visually colorful, stylistic aesthetic on top of a simplistic metaphorical story. In fabric artisctly shows the filmakers opinion on consumerism and capitalistic society as a whole. The filmaker mocks our reliance on sales ( bargains ) and their control over human behaviour. Hence the ending.
The biggest flaw in the film is that he throws together two story lines that have no connection to each other. Artistically this film is a near masterpiece but in terms of film making falls short. Highly recommend this movie.
