Warning: Spoilers
So I just finished watching "Hacksaw" all I can say is, "wow"! It had that 1980's, slasher movie in its prime, feel to it. The director has plenty of inspiration, from the masters that came before him. Anthony learned from and drew from, what true horror fans crave and hunger for in the art of a really good horror movie. No cheap jump scares here. Just a cinematic experience, a rollercoaster if you will, into the madness and the macabre of an up and coming director with a vision and a dream to tell and create good films that he, can be proud of and ones that the audience will no doubt keep coming back for more. It's star, Amy Cay was really good too, she has all the attributes to earn her a title as SCREAM QUEEN. I wish the movie was longer, but the story was told directly on point with no wasted space to fill in between. For a low budget film, nothing went to waste. Even from the smartest of budgets, makes the film and everybody who works behind it all that more creative to work with what they have, and the final product is better for it. I can't wait to see what Anthony, Amy and the those behind the scenes come out with next. I've already got my ticket pre-ordered. When people see the name ANTHONY LEONE on big bold marque letters, in a new film he is releasing, his fans will know that it is a good product worth their movie and time. This film is worth everybody's attention and those who aren't familiar with his work will be, with no seat belt or safety harness, in for one hell of a ride.
