I'm actually surprised Part 2 of Rest Stop has more "positive" reviews than Part 1. In a way, I know what they mean, u can tell their budget was slightly bigger, and they extended they torture scenes to make up for the awful plot/script/acting.
I watched Part 1 a couple of hours before I watched part 2 and I did it prepared, as I had 0 (zero) expectations and I did myself a great favor by not expecting anything from part 2. The only good thing I will say about this movie is the eye candy in the form of Jared the redhead. Yes he's a goof and not "hot" by today's standards, but u wouldn't know that unless u saw him (unfortunately?) strip to his underwear under those (unfortunate?) circumstances his character had to be put in. I swear that was my "favorite" part of the movie. Sure, u can expect eye candy from the helpless damsel in distress but I wasn't there for all that haha. If ur so bored u want to willingly endure a BAD movie, by definition, do watch Rest Stop: Don't Look Back.
I will add that I am puzzled that there was a sequel to Rest Stop. The first one had to have been a success in order for them to make a second. I just don't get it. They thought that "explaining", in Part 2, why things were they way they were in Part 1 would make this movie watchable. It doesn't end it was basically unnecessary. U have to be some kind of masochist to endure Part 2, when it should have all ended with Part 1. Such an awful movie. Good Luck!
