The general story was relatively stupid, the main character is an intelligent lawyer, but for some reason, she believes some fortune teller about her true love.
And then she makes every decision in the movie based on that seemingly ridiculous piece of information.
It just doesn't seem to be that believable.
At the same time, her co-star's story didn't really go anywhere, and we barely even got to know him, instead, we get to see a lot of unnecessary information about relatively minor roles like the new boyfriend's coworker and her client's, neither of which progressed anything at all.
At the end of the movie, as expected the couple discovers they were there all long for each other, but there was no real journey. In fact, the ending was completely pointless from the perspective of the main characters, she is miserable at work and he got a letter telling him to move on, but no real change for either one.
To conclude, the acting could have been better, but it wasn't terrible, as opposed to the problematic script. I recommend you see this movie only if you are really bored, otherwise, i would pass on this one.
