Hi-Riders (1978)
2/10
So this is what movie makers did at sunrise in the valley on a Sunday morning.

No wonder the roads still need major repairs 40+ years later. Don't expect Juliard acting skills in this teen movie that couldn't make it past the drive-ins where teens were obviously distracted by other things and could turn away from the screen during the boring exposition scenes. There really isn't exposition, just violence and crass behavior from some of the oldest looking early 20 something's with smart mouths that don't release smart words.

Not one of these characters are likeable, just another reminder to me that even my own teen era of culture wasn't all Coppola, Woody or Spielberg. Darby Hinton and Diane Peterson are laughably bad, especially Peterson with her constant nose wrinkling to indicate disgust. I had to make sure I didn't wrinkle my nose watching this as I was afraid that it would get stuck in that position. The teen version of the hell's angels films of the late 60's is beyond inane.
