All of Gurudutt's angst and provess in one movie! Too bad he retired from Direction after this... Masterfully depicted the class difference and near contemporary times. Fantastic cinematography for each frame. He was known as Orsen wells of India and you can see the inspiration from Mr Wells which in no way shape or form an insult to Gurudutt.
