Season 1: The show seems to be single handedly carried by the William Peterson as Gill Grissom. Looking past the cheesy oneliners and statistically he is nerver wrong, he is the heart of the show. The do try to flesh out other characters with Warrick's Gambling addiction, Catherine's maternal arc and being the people person and Sara's emotional imbalance and passion towards work. But sadly Nick seem to have drawn the wrong of the straw there because he just passes of as just another guy. The show is cheesy made extra cringey by Marg somehow. But it is genuinely entertaining.
