Mosul left me with mixed feelings...there's a lot of good things it: for one, it's incredibly real and it builds genuine tension; the actors - none of which is a Hollywood star - offer decent performances; and last but not least, I loved the overall cinematography of the movie.
On the other side, I felt kind of let down by the plot: initially quite messy (understandably to a degree, being all about hectic street fighting) but then it does not find a cohesive narrative line and the finale is a bit of a downer.
