I watched the first episode and I'm loving this piece. As a child, Ronald Reagan was portrayed as this great American President. This piece pulls back the veil to confirm everything I've read and learned in adulthood. His (and the GOP's policies) have harmed this country since the 1980's and started a modern day gilded age. They harmed marginalized people. His war on drugs escalated harm to the Black community. It is also a through line to our current mess we've seen since the 2016 election. I can't wait to watch the rest of it.
