US Big Chicken Tells Citizens to Get Plucked - Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken
17 November 2020
Morgan Spurlock has done it again. His long-awaited sequel to Super Size Me has finally arrived. This time, he goes after Big Chicken and companies like Tyson, JBS, and Cargill Meat for hoodwinking the American public with catch phrases like: hormone-free, all natural, free range, cage free, and other meaningless advertising scams. The film arouses both anger and laughter at the same time; a difficult feat to achieve for a documentary filmmaker, but Spurlock gets it done. Too bad our government doesn't give a damn, or maybe they are just getting their palms greased, but they do not seem to have a clue.

The film highlights how to build a fast-food chain from scratch, which was very informative. An ethical man like Spurlock can actually make a difference in such a jaded industry, just as he did by getting a lot of the burger places to offer healthier dishes (as if they did it on their own volition). In any event, both of these films are not to be missed and Health teacher in every school in the US should make them mandatory viewing for their classes.
