I love this movie so much because it's exactly the kind of movie I would want to make- an action romance with thriller elements and tons of fun scenes. I love the relationship with Kyle and Sarah and unlike a lot of other movies, their romance is actually necessary to the plot and makes sense. I also like how they respect dogs.
If there's anything to criticize, the gore was a little hard to take (granted I'm never a fan of that anyway) and the final chase scene special effects didn't age very well. Still has that lovable 80s charm to it, though, so it's okay.
All in all I love it. I thought people were hyping it up too much but I actually really understand why it's so popular and well-loved. Would re-watch anytime.
