I agree with a previous reviewer, this is a rare Hallmark film miss.
Trying to do a modern version of 'Pride and Prejudice' would have been enough in itself, but adding the whole dog show element into it as well completely adds to the mess that is this film.
Just using the character names isn't enough to convince us that this is a modern version of the book, hilariously the DVD box can't even spell Jane Austen's name right!
No real chemistry between the two leads (the thing that for me makes/breaks a Hallmark film) and a plethora of unappealing supporting characters.
Some people must've like it though - I believe there is at least one sequel, which I won't be rushing to watch.
