I've read a lot of reviews complaining about it being about COVID. But here's the thing: we're living through a (hopefully) once in a lifetime experience. I've been working from home for the vast majority of the last 7 months. My children are doing school from home. We can't go to the salon, eat outside the house, travel over an hour away, or go to any stores other than the grocery store (military restrictions)! I watch TV not just as a distraction, but as a way to feel closer to my community, to other humans.
When I watch a new episode of TV right now, the first thing I think of is about COVID. Where are the masks? How are they able to stay safe to film this?
Someday we'll watch an episode from today and it would seem strange to not address it.
