The script and sub plots are patchy with no proper character definition and sometimes lacking common sense (eg: DQ sleeping with his baby brother between his dead parents). It sometimes makes you wonder if it was put together overnight. The mother daughter relationship and the conflict which forms the crux of the movie seems poorly written with sloppy dialogues and does little to define the tension between them. Never understood why they portrayed the female protagonist so unlikable to begin with as a result the viewer could not relate or feel invested in her journey. The movie with the starcast that it has could hv had so much potential but this unfortunately turns out to be a damp squid.
What shines for me is the chemistry between the legendary actors Shobana and Suresh Gopi... the actor playing Suresh Gopi's quack is a breath of fresh air... and packs a good amount of humour in his scenes.... overall... A well intended movie with great potential bogged down by a flimsy and not a well thought through script...
