. . . preaches that those guys blown to bits in battle (or, worse yet, killed in boot camp "accidents") are mostly "losers and suckers." When U.S. Senate Leader Mitch M. (R-KY) watches BOMBARDIER, he's always flabbergasted by how clumsy "Tom" is to fall out of the big opening at the bottom of his training bomber--without even a parachute! As if seeing this loser perish isn't enough, Sen. L. Graham (R-SC) is likewise appalled when "Buck" climbs INTO a burning Japanese Army truck (as if he had nine lives!), becoming a human flame just to light up a night-time bombing raid target. "What a sucker!" Lindsay proclaims. Of course, one of America's top generals--Bill Barr--cannot decide whether Buck's co-pilot is more of a loser or a sucker for spitting tobacco juice into the face of the Japanese War Criminal. Doesn't he realize that chew causes cancer of the jaw?!
