Should have remained a story

Warning: Spoilers
This was an interesting story. I think that's all it should have been, a story of the three brothers and the terrible circumstances that separated them and what happened next. In the last 20 minutes the film tries to identify why Eddy took his life, and seems to lay the blame on the parenting styles. There was no evidence of this. The father is an old man in the film, and I just felt bad for him to be used in this way. Many people are bipolar and/or suicidal and often it isn't purely the construct of one thing in their life. It just felt cruel and unsubstantiated to at the last minute place this huge blame on them. I can only imagine how it must have felt for the father to watch this documentary back. The creators selected quotes to support their own message, showing no balance, and this really took away from what was otherwise and interesting yet disturbing story, but not a documentary.
