13b is a Madhavan movie and nothing else. All the other actors in the movie are replaceable. The only character/actor that makes any genuine contibution to the movie is Madhavan.
The plot is different and towards the end is almost predictable.But I guess the director didn't it to be a suspense anymore at that point, because the clues to the reveal almost took half the screen space whenever it was there.
Apart from Madhavan, all other actors/characters were largely forgettable. The second half introduces a few more characters in an half-assed attempt at building suspense. But I guess any average viewer would have figured out the suspense by that point.
