Comedy

Here's another film from Max Skladanowsky's show. There were several individuals and groups with a claim to having invented the moving pictures, and if the Lumiere Brothers are allowed a listing in the competition, given their show in Paris in late December of 1895 -- and they are -- then Max and his brother are due a place. Their first public exhibition was on November 1, 1895.

They also had more and, in my opinion, better comedy. THE SPRINKLER SPRINKLED is ok, but the gag here on the horizontal bars is better execited.
