This was not one of my favorite live shows. First off, I'm disappointed that with Simon injured (please pray for him) that they are giving up the 4th judge spot rather than have a guest judge. I think this will especially true on the results and the final vote shows.
As for acts, I felt bad for the comic Usama as trying to do comedy to a dead room is nearly impossible and I think that impacted him. It's mainly because he has to guess the timing of how long to wait and when to deliver the next line.
As for the singers and dancers, I was not that impressed with any of them. Some were good but not great. Some of the acts have very touching stories, but we all do - every single one of us. Does their touching story make them perform better? - No. It serves to make us feel "better" about the act. I feel for many of the acts, but at the same time I have a touching story I could share but that doesn't make my reviews better.
All in all, so far not happy about this season although it has nothing to do with acts not being as good or being worse. In fact, I think the one highlight is Terry Crews who I'm not familiar with. I think he has done a fantastic job and boy is he cut. I'd give him the golden buzzer for doing such a great job.
