Nothin' GRAPE but pretty decent. I wanted to watch this after seeing harry potter and lotr thinking it was gonna be a similar experience of fantasy film franchises. This a l m o s t got it, but it's kind of missing something.
Edmund is probably the best character because he goes through a lot emotionally, while the other kids don't really change all that much from start to finish. All of the kid acting is pretty good for kid acting and I love all the characters (ESPECIALLY TUMNUS HE'S A DREAMBOAT). The CG is mostly okay? but sometimes it sticks out a little and at first I wanted to give it a pass since it came out in 2005, but then I remembered that LotR and 4 harry potter movies had come out before then and looked way better. I'm not saying Narnia can't be good because they did it better, but it could've been a lot more polished.
Everything else is pretty good and it makes for a fun fantasy movie to watch with a friend. My sister and I were cheering and yelling the whole time at different points (especially when the ice witch was basically sexually harassing edmund, my god), and it's good enough for what it's trying to do.
