Even though the beginning and first ten minutes or so are supposed to grip the viewer via action and an air of mystery all it really does is detach oneself as it descends to chaos. The first time I tried to watch this episode I actually got so bored and distracted that I turned it off, which I've never done mid-episode before.
The second attempt I finished the episode and it went much better, but only because I knew that I would have to force myself to focus and concentrate manually because the story and characters weren't gravitating my interest for reasons unknown.
Pretty disappointed in the new changes thus far- especially the abstract disjointed crystal-beehive tardis console. not a fan at all.
