I was seeing the film after 20, perhaps 30 years. Somehow I recollect it being a masterpiece.
Today I found it terribly stilted, like a B grade production, replete with cliches of every kind.
I just could not go on after 10 minutes into the film.
It is sad, that I could not conjure up the determination to watch all of it.
