A sad, witty, hopeful film with excellent acting
26 June 2020
To begin with, this film is a delightful farewell to the great actress Susanne Lothar (Chris, Kathi's mother) who has died six months before the release of the film, at the age of just 51. But this is certainly a Stephanie Stremler (Kathi, 30-year-old single mother) film. Her acting suits very well to the attitude of Hanna Doose (director & writer in her first feature film), with lots of improvisation, This beautiful emancipation story of a young woman warms your heart.
