10/10
Released Commercially As "The Italian Stallion" In 1978!
11 June 2020
The 10 star rating is because of the music, not the film (the music is the star of the film if you ask me, like a feature length R rated music video). But just wanted to make a statement here that many people have been confused about over the years. "The Party At Kitty And Stud's" never actually saw an official release in 1970 outside of an independent showing in NYC. The version that everyone knows and what's always been commercially available is "The Italian Stallion" from 1978. The really great Disco and Jazzy music score by Kay Leodel that's the real star of this film (credited as Leo Del on the film's poster - which was a name variation the composer used on another film) had nothing to do with "The Party At Kitty And Stud's" original 1970 cut from 8 years earlier.
